Happy Monday! I hope you all had a good weekend. We just pottered around the house as I’ve recently had the flu and Myron has it now. We spent a lot of time binge-watching TV shows and getting started on some projects so all in all it was a good one.
We’re of course continuing on with Halloween on A Lovely Look and I’m really excited for what’s in store this week. First up is this witch’s broom garland. Witch was my go-to Halloween costume when I was a kid – mainly because it was easy but also because I’m absolutely fascinated by witch stories and movies (almost as much as I am by vampires!). Naturally, I find a way to incorporate witchiness into my Halloween projects and décor every year.
- Cut out strips of cardstock for the broom handles. Mine were 1cm wide and about 20cm long (the width of an A4 piece of cardstock).
- Make tassels following these instructions.
- Cellotape the tassel to the piece of card stock.
- Spread the brooms out evenly and cellotape to a piece of a ribbon.
