Who says we can’t celebrate Halloween all October? I’ve rounded up some great orange beauty products to get you in the Halloween spirit. You could use these on Halloween for your costume makeup or use them throughout the month to get a little festive. Nothing says Halloween like orange!
Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Enamel in Summer Orange | OPI Nail Polish in In My Back Pocket | Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous | Lush Sparkly Pumpkin* | Orly Chunky Glitter Nail Polish in Bronze | Chi Chi Makeup Blending Sponge in Orange | Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick in Status
If you haven’t yet read it, check out my Halloween glitter nail ideas. They’re perfect for a glamorous Halloween nail look. I used both OPI in In My Back Pocket and Orly Chunky Glitter Nail Polish in Bronze in some of the looks. I am obsessed with this Orly glitter – it’s absolutely stunning. It’s more orange than bronze which makes it perfect for Halloween. The Rimmel Nail Polish in Summer Orange is of course from my favourite nail polish range – Rimmel Salon Pro. I harp on about these nail polishes all the time and they seem to feature on the blog every week but that’s because they’re so amazing! This orange really is summery – making it perfect for New Zealand (and Australia) during Halloween.
Who doesn’t love a good Lush bath product? They’re just heavenly. I attended Lush’s Christmas and Halloween launch last month and happily left with a few products. The Sparkly Pumpkin was one I was dying to get my hands on. It doesn’t have a strong smell, is extremely glittery and feels heavenly on the skin. It’s one of Lush’s bubble bars so you crumble it under a running tap to make a bubble bath. I find one lasts me two baths – just break it in half before you crumble it under the water.
The Revlon Balm Stains have long been a favourite of mine – I first mentioned them almost two years ago. Rendezvous is a gorgeous orange that applies quite glossy and has a little shimmer to it. Chi Chi is a brand that’s fairly new to my makeup collection but I’m slowly gathering more and more products. I was already impressed by the Viva La Diva lipsticks (see here) and this shade is no different. For a matte lipstick, it goes on pretty smoothly but dries to a perfect matte, without cracking or drying my lips.
I’ve not had a chance to use this sponge yet but couldn’t resist picking it up from Farmers when I was prepping for this blog post.
