What’s your policy on working with brands?

I want to start a blog. Any tips?
Loads! Firstly, just start. The reason why so many people love blogging is that they start it as a hobby. So don’t overthink it too much. Pick a name you’re happy with it, come up with some content ideas and then just go for it. Then when you’ve done it for a while and know you love it, that’s the time to invest more money into it and to focus more time on strategies. You don’t have to have a ton of money and resources just to start – all you need is a computer, an internet connection and a camera or iPhone. I’ve also got some tips and advice here.
What did you study in college?
I started university as a law student but didn’t continue with that past the first two years. I then went on to studying communications – mainly focused on public relations. So I have a Diploma in Law and a Bachelor of Communications Studies, majoring in Public Relations and Journalism.
May I use your photographs on my site?
Most of the time I’ll say yes but please email me firstname.lastname@example.org to check first.
Where do you live?
I live in Auckland, New Zealand.
How old are you?
I am 25 years old.
What do you do for a living?
I recently finished a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Public Relations) and now I work full time in social media and corporate blogging.
How long have you been blogging and why did you start blogging?
I have been blogging since March 2009. I started my blog as a creative outlet when I was in law school. My first blog focused on fashion and student life. I re-launched my blog in 2013 as A Lovely Look and recently made the switch from solely focusing on beauty to being more of a lifestyle blog with a lot of crafting and DIY!
What platform do you blog on?
I have a self-hosted blog that I run on wordpress.org. I first began blogging on blogspot and then moved to wordpress.com when I wanted more control over my blog. In 2012 I decided it was time to take the plunge and purchase my domain name and run my blog myself.
