We’re only a few days into the Halloween season but our house has been completely taken over by it – every corner and surface is dedicated to a project. Today’s project has been hanging on our wall for a couple of weeks and I’ve been so excited to share it with you. It’s one of the simplest projects I’ve ever done and it can be used in so many different ways. I initially set off with the intention of it being a garland but it also works great stuck to toothpicks atop marshmallows, cupcakes and other delicious treats!
Step 1: Cut circles out of your orange paper using your circle punch (I used a 1inch circle punch).
Step 2: Using a sharpie, draw a face on each circle. These can be as simple or as intricate as you like. Mine were pretty simple because as you all know I’m all about the easy and efficient projects. You can also make them happy, funny, goofy or really up the scare factor.
CIRCLE PUNCH JACK-O-LANTERN GARLAND
Cut a piece of string and then stick each jack-o-lantern to it using a piece of cellotape. When you are doing this make sure that your string isn’t twisted so that your jack-o-lanterns all face the same way. Hang your jack-o-lantern garland on your wall, along a table, or drape around your dessert station.
CIRLCE PUNCH JACK-O-LANTERN TOPPERS
Using cellotape stick a toothpick to the back of each jack-o-lantern. Stick each jack-o-lantern topper into a marshmallow, cupcake or other tasty halloween treat!
